- Adding waste handling capacity can be done without interruption to existing digester operations
- Different digesters can be set up to run different waste streams from different parts of the plant
- Any digester operational problems will not affect operation in another unit
- Digester size permits shop fabrication and truck shipping to site:
- Maintains equipment tolerances
- Better product quality
- Faster project schedule
- Smaller on-site construction and installation footprint
- Staggered scheduled maintenance (if digester downtime required)
